Comments
Comments: Very thin cover up to about the Randolph Path, gradually increases along with ice. Put on microspikes at Watson Path, left them on much lower for the descent. No need for snowshoes. An inch or two of new fluff on the upper Valley Way, as well as several ice bulges. Softer cover above the tent sites. Above treeline, windpacked snow filling in the spaces, good traveling with microspikes- but I carried crampons.

The fog moved in increasingly, less than 100 ft. visibility from about 5,000' up. I had intended to visit Adams too , but called it good with Mt. Madison today. Summit temp 10F @ 1:15 pm, wind about 20 mph.
