After skiing up to the junction (about 5 miles), put on snow shoes and kept them on until the return. Some post holes from bare booters but nothing horrible. Snow shoes make the hike easy. Fast trail up and back. Quite a few folks out today taking advantage of the great weather. 22.5 miles, 12 hour hike. This wrapped up my winter 48 and what a way to finish! |
