Old Osseo up to Whaleback in great condition. Whaleback to New Osseo junction littered with blowdown, we would have been lost without GPS. |

 | Comments: |
Breakable crust all the way on Whaleback, snow 1-2 feet deep. Snowshoes mitigated the pain. At Osseo, hardpacked, either crampons or snowshoes were fine. Coming down Liberty was sketchy in snowshoes, we switched to crampons. |
