Comments
Comments: A nice day to be out.

Hancock Notch and Cedar Brook Trails had a thin layer of packed snow over ice, with some patches of blue ice. The snow was thicker on the Hancock Loop Trail, and was sticky on the steep sections to and from N & S peaks. The snow was well packed on the ridge, and seemed to be about a foot deep on the sides of the trail.

We wore microspikes the entire hike, and had no problems. Saw a few hikers coming up the South Link of the Loop Trail wearing crampons.
