Overall a great day! Trail was well packed down which only required use of microspikes. Don’t step off the packed trail or you will post hole down to your hips [which is a reason to wear snowshoes!]. Little slippery ascending up North due to the melting snow and sticking to the bottom of my spikes. Any day in the mountains is a good day, well worth the day trip from Rhode Island! |
