Comments
Comments: Lincoln woods trail a nasty mess of uneven blue ice. We put spikes on at the Ranger Cabin and left them on to just beyond Bondcliff..not much snow below 3000 feet with gradually increasing depths on a packed out trail..made good time to the ledge.

It got windy there with some deep drifts in between rocky areas..after the summit the snowshoes came on which stayed on to near Zeacliff. There was a perfect snowshoe track all the way there which was a blast..One guy ahead of us was barebooting and did some damage to the trail in places ..everyone else in snowshoes left a real nice track..This will be an easy get for a few days.

Descent from Zeacliff went very quickly on a filled in trail well packed out and we used spikes or Hillsounds from there. Brief stop at the hut..made it halfway down Zealand Trail on a nice track before the headlamps came out.

Roadwalk went quickly tho very icy under a thin layer of snow..probably skates the best footware for that section ...while views decreased as the day went along and very wintry with clouds and fog around this was a great day for the Bonds.

Nice to run into Gary, Nancy, Charlie and others along the way. Excellent hike with Valerie, Sabrina, Ed and Eric...rockin the Bonds
