Comments
Comments: Three of us worked hard to break the trail with snowshoes. Started with microspikes on Lincoln Woods and Wilderness Trails.

Put on snowshoes just below summit of Bondcliff and kept them on all the way to Zealand Hut. About a foot of fresh powder and drifts up to our knees. The ridge is wind blown but has very deep drifts. A lot of work but a great day.

No wind and really pretty warm. Cloudy all day but the sun did manage to come out just before it went down. Some of the steeper sections of the trail around Zeacliff and Zealand Pond were very icy but we managed with our snowshoes. Carried crampons but didn't use them
