Nice day out solo on these peaks. Even though previous reports warned about going down the western side of Ayers Pond Peak (the most eastern one) in snowshoes, I was undaunted and plowed ahead. For real, go counter clockwise in winter. Ayers Pond - Middle Peak has a new jar and register, hung in December 2023; thanks to those who brought balance back to the universe. |
