Comments
Comments: Sawyer River Rd is an icy walk, microspikes were the way to go. A lot more snow up high than we expected, used the snowshoes for a good part of the day. Wore them from summit down to the sharp switchback in the birch glades, so that part of trail is a breeze right now!

No summit views today, but some very fresh bear tracks, a choir of birds and good company made up for it! One tricky ice bulge spot near the river requires care coming down, ice was slippery and it wasn't a good spot to fall. Great conditions, go get it!
