Access road is a bit rough, icy, with some daunting ditches on the side. But there is parking on rt 2 just before Starr king road, with only a short (uphill) walk. With good tires and some clearance, it was okay for us. |

Lots of post holes to the sides of the trail, but the center was well packed and in great shape. We wore spikes and carried our SS the whole way. Not a single post hole for us. Thank you to the previous day's snowshoers, who stamped out most of the mess. |
