Comments: Really nice day on the trail! Other than the occasional posthole, the trail was in good shape and nicely packed. I used snowshoes both ways and that was the right choice for me. I did see a couple of guys in just micro spikes and they seemed to be doing fine, though I could see where they were sinking in a bit when I descended after them.

An added bonus was getting so see a really cool undercast at the lookout point and chatting with fellow hikers!
