The snow was perfect. Dense and supportive. Excellent slip free grip with MSRs. The trench was very well defined and pretty post hole free. We started with boots, shifted to shoes when the terrain steepened.
Up North, down South. Glissade is def the way to descend, and you probably will intentional or not. My knees sure like that way better. |
