Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There are numerous blowdowns on KRT. A short distance up the trail in the hardwoods there is a decently sized blowdown, not much further there is a cluster including a much larger maple that is completely blocking the trail. Then there are another 2 or 3 spruces to crawl under, and an other to climb over.

Comments
Comments: Surface conditions on KRT are among the best I have seen in a while. The base is fairly stable and supportive, though we still chose to wear snowshoes the whole time. Zero issues with ice. With that said, this trail gets heavily butt-slid and can easily turn into a luge track.
