Great day to get out! The trail was in surprisingly great condition after the recent weather events. A mix of traction used by others out today - snowshoes, spikes, bare boots. Spikes all the way to the summit for us. Some looser but still packed snow near the last 1/4 - 1/2 mile. Threw on snowshoes on the way down to help consolidate those sections. The weather was great, with no wind, and bluebird skies. |
