Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Ferncroft was plowed. Counted 12 vehicles in the lot when we finished our hike. We arrived around 7:30 and were the first ones in the lot.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Postholes

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: One tricky water crossing. It’s not too wide and there are two logs across the water. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There were a few blowdowns but they were easily navigated.

Dog-Related Notes: 2 dogs both under the control of their owners

Bugs: None 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: One women’s Oboz boot at the wooden sign in the parking lot. It’s tucked under the awning for safe keeping. 
 
Comments
Comments: We wore snowshoes door to door. The trail is well packed. Thank you to those who broke out this trail. Almost all of the rocks are covered. Though others hiked without snowshoes, it is recommended for the integrity of the trail.
