Trail was broken out before us with some postholes. Snow depth increased with elevation with plenty for snowshoes from about a little more than a mile in to summit. Barebooted without trouble for about the first 1.5 mile, snowshoes after that. Hardly a breeze with temps mostly in the 20's. No views from the viewpoint but by the time we were about halfway down the sun was shining and the sky was mostly blue. Spectacular views of the presis from Route 2 on my drive home!! |
