| Comments: |
Livermore Rd. is solid ice - light traction necessary.
We found a route up the south slide which was snow covered but not too icy.
More snow across the ridge. Not quite enough for snow shoes but spikes were helpful the whole day.
Steep pitches coming off of N. Tri were very icy. Ascent would be tricky on spikes without finding alternate routes around the ice-covered boulders.
Scaur Ridge Trail on the descent was crusty ice/snow hybrid - again, perfect for spikes.
Saw one person who had ascended via Pine Bend. No tracks coming from Sabbaday Brook Tr. |
