Closing in on a foot of powder as of 4:30 PM and it's still lightly snowing.
Powder ranged from 6" under the pines to close to a foot in most other areas (except oddly the short north-facing uphill on South Peak, which was also closer to 6"). Snow is dry enough that it wasn't packing too well, so snowshoes are the way to go.
Hopefully folks will snowshoe tomorrow and Tuesday so that whatever happens Wednesday doesn't result in frozen postholes Wednesday night and beyond. |
