Comments
Comments: Trace to an inch of snow over rocks, roots, and ice to about 2600’. Trace to an inch of snow over packed snow and ice up to the ridge, along Tom Spur and down A-Z. Minimal spots of partially exposed rocks and roots along the ridge between Field and Willey. A bunch of exposed ice flows and more areas of partially exposed rocks and roots between Field and A-Z with rocks being more prevalent the closer you get to A-Z. The ice flows up Avalon between A-Z and Avalon Spur were snow coated and grippy today. I used recently sharpened rock spikes the entire day with no problems.
