Parking lot on Route 302 was fine - pretty busy by mid-day. |

The one real crossing was adequately ice bridged. |

No real blowdown issues. Brushing seemed okay. Signage okay. Blazing was sparse below the junction; I didn't notce any above the junction. |

An item reported lost was located; the owner has been emailed. |

| Comments: |
Icy! Lower section of trail was very icy. Upper part (above junction) was covered by some new snow (up to a few inches).
Wore microspikes from start of trail to ledge a few hundred feet below summit; switched to crampons there, in part because the snow was obscuring whatever was underneath.
Kept crampons on for the descent, though microspikes might have been enough. Nice to run into Hiker Ed and Wolfgang. |
