Comments
Comments: Icy! Lower section of trail was very icy. Upper part (above junction) was covered by some new snow (up to a few inches).

Wore microspikes from start of trail to ledge a few hundred feet below summit; switched to crampons there, in part because the snow was obscuring whatever was underneath.

Kept crampons on for the descent, though microspikes might have been enough. Nice to run into Hiker Ed and Wolfgang.
