Water Crossing Notes: All could be easily managed with poles today - third and fourth crossings heading up Bondcliff Trail were completely bridged.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Usual step-overs and a few big duck-unders on Bondcliff Trail between junction with Lincoln Woods Trail and the old junction headed to the ridge, otherwise trails in good shape
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Hannah had a great day - warm temps and mostly very easy footing. She needed a small boost on the step-up just below Bondcliff, and was leashed heading off of Bondcliff where the trail is near the edge.

Comments
Comments: Started with a frozen uneven surface from Lincoln Woods, bit smoother past junction with Black Pond Trail and better once on the Bondcliff Trail. Snow depth increased to about 8" near Bondcliff summit with the trail starting to get nicely filled in, not too many annoying rocks today. Rime and crusty ice on the summit down to the col heading towards Bond, then easily 12-14" heading to the summit of Bond. Snow a bit deeper towards the West Bond Spur, West Bond Spur a packed out sidewalk. Snowshoes worn from the West Bond Spur back to treeline below Mt. Bond (but not totally necessary), otherwise micros or barebooting were fine for the rest of the hike. Much less snow heading down lower Bondcliff Trail and Lincoln Woods than earlier in the day. Fantastic day with unseasonably warm temps, little wind, and great views including some neat undercast in the morning. Fantastic day with Tim and Hannah, and great to run into Bryan and Cynthia by the West Bond Spur!
