Pretty much complete snow cover on Mill brook trail…. Snow was pretty hard so I barebooted it but snowshoes or microspikes could be worn. I didn’t wear snowshoes because I thought it would be more torque on the ankles with the supportive snow…. My heels from barebooting crunched it better to keep me stable… Kilkenny trail was more on & off snow…. Overall pretty tough hiking conditions but pay off was huge. Saw no one all day and warm sunshine on the ledge. |
