There is a 1 mile section of Old Troy Rd leading to the trailhead from Dublin. It is unmaintained in winter, but was fine (albeit a bit muddy in spots) for most vehicles. Plenty of parking in the large lot, only 5 cars on arrival at 12:30 and 3 on return at 3:30pm |

Hard to believe it is December 16 and all that was needed was a light hat, sweatshirt and no gloves the entire way. Could see snowcapped Washington and Lafayette to the north. A spectacular day in the Monadnock region.
Dublin Trail required spikes in several sections. |
