Comments
Comments: Trail conditions changed somewhat during the course of the day -icy, bare in places at the start, 1" of fluffy snow fell hiding bare are icy surfaces.

Bare booted to the major brook crossing, put on microspikes for the crossing and used them until just below Mt. Liberty. At this point 1" of new snow covered bare and icy sections. One long slide on microspikes made us change to full crampons which we used to Mt. Flume and back. Full crampons allowed a rapid decent on the Liberty Spring Trail. Overall trail conditions are in transition from late fall/early winter to winter.
