Bare booted to Starr King. Then put on snowshoes to Waumbek and kept them on until just below the trailhead. I wanted to pack the trail a little more. Most other hikers were in spikes without making any deep divits. I was greeted at Starr King with a spectacular undercast. Blue sky above,fluffy white clouds below with purple mountains rising from the clouds |
