Comments
Comments: Put spikes on just below 1900’ on Blueberry Ledge trail before a large ice flow on the ledge.. only a few sections had ice but not on the steeper ledges.. if there was, it was covered with snow… decent amount of snow on the Rollins trail but not enough for snowshoes… Dicey’s Mill was in great shape and no big amount of ice like last year headed up to the summit from the Rollins/Dicey’s intersection.. summit cairn is buried.. smooth conditions for the descent and took off the spikes shortly after walking the log on the only water crossing.. the usual wet sections are now hard pack… a group of Buddy Hikers made the ascent of Passaconaway for Michelle’s 1st 4K.. congratulations! Kudos for signing up with them, getting a taste of winter conditions, and testing out your gear for winter
