Comments
Comments: We intended to follow Big Earl's Wendnesday traverse over the Bonds. The trails were all in good shape and though we wore microspikes from the Hut to Zealand one could do it easily by barebooting. It was minus 7 at Zealand and the wind in the trees was fierce. So we decided to turn back.

On the way back I went over Hale to get one more winter peak and met up with Dave and Ned at the end of Zealand Rd. Reading Joe's report from the day before we were glad not to have chanced the traverse and face the section between Bond and Bondcliff in the cold wind and ice caked rocks.
