Parking/Access Road Notes: Easy enough to still get into the unplowed lot, everyone was behaving themselves and parking efficiently.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Easy rock hops, just be careful where you step the ice isn’t that thick and it looks like a few people found out the hard way.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in good shape.

Dog-Related Notes: Saw two pups having a good time. Jackson stayed home for this one.

Comments: Quick morning hike so we could get back in time for football, even if the pats are barely watchable. KatieB’s first time up the sporty route, she did great! Rock spikes door to door. Trail is in good shape, minimal ice, decent traction with some hard packed snow.
