Gale River Road. Plenty of plowed parking at Beaver Brook. Others parked at 5 corners which was also plowed. |

Both "major" crossings were tricky but doable. Microspikes helped with the very icy rocks. Not quite iced over but getting there. |

Decided on Galehead to miss the predicted high winds and wind chills. Never materialized on this hike. Clear, cold skies led to a great winter day out. Used microspikes most of the day. Views were great. |
