Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Gale River Road. Plenty of plowed parking at Beaver Brook. Others parked at 5 corners which was also plowed.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Snow - Drifts, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Both "major" crossings were tricky but doable. Microspikes helped with the very icy rocks. Not quite iced over but getting there.

Comments: Decided on Galehead to miss the predicted high winds and wind chills. Never materialized on this hike. Clear, cold skies led to a great winter day out. Used microspikes most of the day. Views were great.
