| | Date of Hike: | Thursday, November 2, 2023 | | | | | Parking/Access Road Notes: | Parked in lot at end of Sawyer River rd (gates still open)/space for about a dozen cars. 1 other car @ 8AM / 2 different cars @ 2:30 | | | | | Surface Conditions: | Dry Trail | | | | | Recommended Equipment: | | | | | | Water Crossing Notes: | step overs | | | | | Trail Maintenance Notes: | | | | | | Dog-Related Notes: | Road and herd path are OK for pups, but the bushwhack would be brutal for most. Steep hard to navigate terrain (including rock faces that may be impossible for a pup to climb), and lots of low branches in a pup's face. | | | | | Bugs: | | | | | | Lost and Found: | Found water bottle, now in my recycle bin | | |

| | | | Comments: | Great day out. Walk up road was easy and relatively flat; herd path had some fairly recent work, noticed a few small trees cut. BW was mostly open for this elevation, with a few rocky climbs. Followed same approximate route as others to COL then west to summit. Easy to locate canister. No patches or bottles remaining. | | | | | Name: | CookiesOnTop | | | | | E-Mail: | schwarzmc at yahoo dot com | | | | | Date Submitted: | 2023-11-03 | | | | | Link: | https:// | | | | Disclaimer: Reports are not verified - conditions may vary.
