Comments
Comments: An interesting cloud layer from this side kept the summits in the clouds but with sun on the lower slopes - coming in from direction of N Conway looked like the other side of the presis was in the clear.

Zealand road had an inch or so of soft powder with some tracks and a bit of ice undeneath in places - one set of cross country ski tracks heading up beyond Sugarloaf trailhead.

Sugarloaf trail up to col had an inch or so of powder, trail over to north sugarloaf hadn't been trekked since last snow storm so there was about 3 inches of soft powder on the trail and easy traveling. Gentleman had headed up middle sugarloaf before me so soft powder of an inch or two now tracked out by two of us. Maybe 3 inches of soft powder on the summit ledges. Bareboots generally fine - gentleman coming off Middle in bareboots did slip and slide in a few places near the summit in the steeper parts - light traction handled any difficulites in this short stretch, ladder at top was clear.
