Parked in a turnout on rt 16 at Trailhead. Room for approx 4 vehicles maybe more. 1 vehicle on arrival |

Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |

Ellis river is fairly low and refreshingly chilly. Depth is mid way to the knees |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail well signed and in great shape. There is one walk around blowdown just after the river crossing. |

Excellent hike for a dog |

Excellent late afternoon hike to the falls. Post peak foliage was still beautiful mixed with plenty of green. Met one other hiker looking for his friend. Falls were amazing! |
