Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Not really applicable (we can imagine a small rock hop at one certain section in Spring) where there are strategically-placed rocks
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There were about 6 total blowdowns- but none appeared new (though there is evidence of some somewhat fresh "sawdust" where a large tree had been - THANK YOU!) And all were easy fully upright walk u ders - one slightly lowered but no problem at all.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We just dont understand how dogs are able to safely manage either the "Chimney" or the Bypass- but we know that at least one beautiful girl made it this morning.
Bugs
Bugs: None (saw two of those white caterpillars on trees, but no bugs)
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: None seen.

Comments
Comments: Despite a lot of wetness around in the upper mountain, the "Chimney" and the Bypass were dry (phew)! Had not hiked Osceola from Tripoli Road in over 8 years- and just did not remember how rocky the footing is or eroded in the first few miles. Bet this is one much more enjoyable when snow packed LOL :-)
