Comments
Comments: Gale River Road had 2-4 inches snow on top of ice..snowshoes or light traction fine.

we wore snowshoes from the car in the morning..a little bony in places on Garfield Trail but once up in the switchbacks the snowshoes were perfect.

Summit scramble filling in nicely and snowshoes were perfect. Windy and cold with no view so we didnt linger long..3-6 inches fresh above 3000 feet or so made for a nice descent though below that level some switched to micros which were fine. Great day out with Valerie, Cynthia and Bryan
