Walked around gate, and down road about 1/4 mile. Entered woods between some rather tight spruce, but this gave way to open woods fairly quickly. Reached the powerline at a fairly steep section, already decided that I should have entered woods earlier. Woods were open, and grades fairly easy. Register was on the second bump I traversed, and all the contents were present, although the baggie seemed a bit wet. Headed back down aiming towards the gated road intersection. Quick hike, with stop by pond to check it out. |
