Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: two other vehicles in hairpin turn lot on arrival at 1 pm, with only one remaining at 5:30 pm; lot appeared to be recently plowed

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Ice - Blue, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Trivial; although ice has not completely bridged water crossings, easy enough to use iced up rocks and a log to get across all 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Grown in vegetation getting a bit tight just off the North Hancock summit on way to Hancock; mud pits on traverse now frozen up and under thin snowpack

Dog-Related Notes: coming down Hancock might be a bit exciting for dogs until the snowpack thickens

Comments: Hiked the loop CW so could boot ski down the upper steep section of Hancock, which required some care as still lots of exposed obstacles protruding the thin snowpack underlain by lots of white ice; left microspikes in the pack the entire loop
