||This was my 48 finish and I had been dreading because of the water crossing. The new configuration of the trail makes it much more enjoyable and the first 2 miles is relatively flat and weaves along the river. There were areas of mud but not major and could easily get over. |
Had the best day at both summits and met some outstanding hikers that joined our celebration.
The views are incredible on South Twin. Definitely happy I saved this for last even though it was not planned.
