Comments
Comments: From end of Little River Road, crossed snowmobile bridge (approach is washed out), then took a hard left onto the herd path leading to the North Twin Trail summer lot. About an inch of wet powder with some blue ice and occasional breakable ice lurking underneath. Barebooted with no issue.

North Twin Trail and subsequent herd path starting at the first crossing had 1-2" of powder on top of blue ice and frozen granular with the occasional hidden mud patch. Barebooted with no issue, though I had a few Ted Kennedy moments when slipping on hidden ice.

Fire Warden's Trail had 2-3" of powder in the middle birch glades on top of maybe 3-6" of frozen granular base. Some hidden mud down low with maybe 1-3" of frozen granular base. Short area above birch glades with half an inch of new powder on top of next to no base, then closer to 3" of powder again with 4-6" of frozen granular base leading to the summit.

Barebooted the whole hike - snowshoes and Microspikes were freeloaders on my pack. Would want snowshoes in the middle glades on FWT if we get another 3" or so inches of powder.
