| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Only one car in the lot today. It was slick with ice, although level so we had no problem with driving in or out. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction, Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Ice shelves not yet stable. Rock hopping required. At least one rock slippery, I went in with one leg. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Three duck under blowdowns while climbing the switchbacks. One step over near the start of the trail which needs branches removed to make crossing easier. |
|

Great trip for fido. |

| Comments: |
Needed microspikes for the road walk and above the middle of the switchbacks. Would have worn crampons for the decent from the summit if we had them, but came out unscathed with microspikes and great care. |
