Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Only one car in the lot today. It was slick with ice, although level so we had no problem with driving in or out. 
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth 
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction, Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Ice shelves not yet stable. Rock hopping required. At least one rock slippery, I went in with one leg. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Three duck under blowdowns while climbing the switchbacks. One step over near the start of the trail which needs branches removed to make crossing easier.

Dog-Related Notes: Great trip for fido.

Comments
Comments: Needed microspikes for the road walk and above the middle of the switchbacks. Would have worn crampons for the decent from the summit if we had them, but came out unscathed with microspikes and great care.
