Comments
Comments: Hiked up the Edmands to Mt Eisenhower, then along the Crawford Path to Peirce and down for a loop ending with a walk back along Mt Clinton Road. Edmands Path was in pretty good shape, with minimal mud, considering the summer we've had. The Crawford Path between Eisenhower and Pierce was generally dry, with some mud lagoons in the low sections under the spruces. But below Mt Pierce the Crawford Path was mud, running water, and a conveyor of wet stones to walk on. About as bad as I expected, and made for a slow & slippery descent. In better news, Gibbs Falls was rushing nicely for summer. A real treat!xtrailx And finally thanks to Laura, whom I met on the hike up Eisenhower, for giving me a ride on the last mile of Mt Clinton road as I walked footsore and weary back to my car. Greatly appreciated!
