There are 6 significant water crossings which were all “rock hoppable”. Some crossings took more thought than others. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail can be hard to follow at some water crossings. Trail markers are few once you enter the Sandwich Wilderness Area. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
The last .5 mile of the trail was steep with some slabs that were wet that day. some dogs (and people) may have a difficult time but we saw many lots of dogs on this hike. |

Bugs towards the afternoon once the sun came out and it warmed up. |

Overall this was a great way to approach the Tripyramids if you are looking to avoid the slides. There was not a lot of other people on this trail and it was really moderate until the last .5 miles at the top to where this trail intersects others. |
