Comments
Comments: Did this as a one-day traverse. There was a serious amount of standing water and mud. It's not surprising because of the weather the last few months, but the trail is so torn up by the mud that there are side paths being created to avoid it. Along the twinway just past Zeacliff there are two places where the planks are rotted and are crying to be replaced. I felt bad for the AT hikers having to navigate this. Lots of standing water in many places before you hit the bonds. Then it's just mud, wet rocks, and/or running water again past Bondcliff and intermittently all the way out to Lincoln Woods. Be prepared to just accept the muck and the wet.
