A fun and challenging hike. Go up Madison Gulf. It’s steep, wet, slippery, and requires handholds and footholds. The chocolate cake in the Hut was delicious. I didn’t love Parapet. It felt like a slog even though the views were good. The upper section of Osgood was steep but overall a nice trail. The Osgood Cutoff was a quick out-and-back. Didn’t see anyone on Madison Gulf or Osgood. |
