Comments
Comments: Upper section of Buttress has a few sections of overgrown trail where you’ll probably get a car wash, same for the first quarter mile of Wamsutta. Watch your step on both these sections, hidden rocks and roots out of view will try and trip you up. Great Gulf Headwall, once breaking out into the open very small cairns and blazes are few and far between, the track up the headwall shoots up the middle then ever so slightly hugs the right of the headwall near the top. The Link in-between Castle and Castle Ravine junctions is mostly moss covered rocks and roots that is slippery in spots.

All other trails in great shape with some excellent trail work having been done below treeline on Wamsutta and along Great Gulf near Sphinx Trail junction and just past Spaulding Lake.
