Comments
Comments: Only a few cars at the Pine Bend Brook Trail or is it the Pind Bend Brook Trail (look closely at the signs duh). We didn't start until sometime after 9 and only a couple other cars parked on both sides of the Kanc at the trailhead. Pleasant hike not too humid or hot today but it was very hazy so the views were limited. Met two trail runners on their way down while we were going up, we passed a few people too. Met a couple and their dog that somehow managed to climb up the slide. They popped out as we arrived at the intersection. They said it was very slippery and admitted it wasn't the best day to climb a wet slide and asked us about the south slide--they were relived to hear that it wasn't slabby or as steep. We had the summits to ourselves on the way up, ate lunch on Middle and on the way back we meet dozens of people. There must have been 15 people on North! A good day in the woods.
