Lot almost full from overnighters at 6:30am. Dozens of cars overflowed onto road at 2:30pm-many of which people just headed to Emerald Pool |

The two crossings of Charles Brook were an easy rock hop for a five-year old this morning |

Two huge birch down near very top of Slippery Brook. only two or three smaller blowdowns rest of day |

Left Fin at home. Trails are brutally rugged/steep and the sun was baking up there. met Lola the ten-year old, very sweet tiny dog who was crushing North Baldface with a softball-sized fatty lymphoma on her hind leg. Owner said amputation is imminent:( |

Wonderful day above tree line. Bicknell Ridge is so awesome-love that trail. Lots of folks once on the ridge enjoying the spectacular weather and views. lots of mud on Slippery Brook otherwise dry trails. 46-49/52WAV for Ms. Margaret. |
