Comments
Comments: Nice but cold day for a bond traverse. We started at a little after 6am. Used headlamps up to Franconia Falls Bridge. Just light snow until we hit Twinway. The brook crossing on Wilderness section was tricky. We put on micro spikes on top of Bondcliff as it had lots of ice coverage and wore them until we hit Zealand Road. Only saw two guys from Brooklyn coming out who had stayed at Guyot overnight with temps around 0. The Twinway section was not tracked out. Otherwise Robie and I had a nice quick day and got to the parking lot on the other side of Zealand Campground at 4:30pm.
