Comments
Comments: It was a great day for this hike. Polecat has yet to see snow making equipment on it, thus the thin, natural snow cover is still ideal for barebooting up to the Wildcat Ridge trail.

We used the short bushwhack from the last turn on the ski trail to bypass Wildcat D on our way to A.

While there are a few steep places with ice on the WRT, we both were able to bareboot safely to Wilcat A. On the way back we then went up to Wildcat D. The snow cover on the ridge is very thin and previous hikers have set up a well packed path. On the way back down from Wildcat C, Ned did put on his spikes for better grip on the icy sections.
