Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Was expecting a more difficult crossing on Ammo, but no big deal. Boundary Line had one crossing that was also easily crossed.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Nothing new, a few blow downs but no impediments. There were some brand new board bridges along Boundary Line which are great but also quite slippery if wet. The Ammo had a short section that washed out near the river--easily bypassed.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Caps Ridge could be very tough on dog pads, especially larger pups.

Comments
Comments: hundreds of hikers out on this beautiful day...quite a few through hikers too. It was pretty cold at times on the summits with the strong wind. Best hiking day this month by far.
