Beautiful day for Chocorua. Took the less traveled route. Bushwhacked to ledges at 1.9 miles. Great views. Horse tracks at 2600 ft elevation…. Yup I said horse tracks. They was on the Hammond trail and looked like they made the turn at the weetamoo trail. The terrain was ledgy with some minor scrambles. Hope the horses were ok. I know it’s hard to believe but I saw horseshoe prints in the mud and big piles of horse crap. |
